Did you know that 85% of Americans feel some form of financial anxiety? Yet, most people feel there is no way to change their situation.
According to the American Institute of Stress, on the job pressure and fear of job loss are on top of the list of things stressing employees out.
And this stress is linked to problems such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and potentially greater danger of developing high blood pressure and strokes.
Does this describe you or someone you know?
I love being a therapist. And I’ve been one for 30 years and had my own successful private practice for almost 20 years. I feel grateful everyday for the life I have.
Over the last several years, however, I’ve become aware of how I only bring in money when I’m sitting in my office with clients.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I really enjoy sitting in my office with clients. But, I often take time off, and love to travel, and ride my Harley. And, in private practice I have no sick time, no vacation pay, and my income is directly related to the hours I spend in that office.
I began to look for ways to supplement my income. I began to hear about “multiple streams of income” and how important it is to not have all your “income eggs” in one basket. I looked for ways to bring in passive income.
A friend suggested a network marketing business. I knew friends who were doing MLMs. At first I wrote it off, as I thought I’d have to go out and sell to people…I didn’t want to be one of those people who spam their friends on Facebook to sell products.
But then I started doing my research.
Did you know that 44 million Americans have a “side gig”?
Did you know that in 2015, worldwide, network marketing companies had $183,700 billion dollars in sales, with $73.4 billion of that paid directly to distributors? Some of the best-known companies in America, including Avon, Amway, and Tupperware all have their place in the world thanks to network marketing.
Most people don’t know how word of mouth marketing works. Did you know that at least 50% of what you pay for products in a store is going to brokering, marketing, trucking and shipping, and paying the retail staff to sell? In network marketing, that 50% is passed along to the distributors. And if you look closely, you’ll see many top business people now espousing the networking marketing model.
Now I personally have a few side businesses: I sell medicinal mushrooms and essential oils. But only recently did I decide to start another one because I was so impressed. Impressed by the products, which are relevant and a part of changing economy, impressed by the company, which is a debt-free billion dollar company, and impressed that everyday people like you and me can get involved in “tech money”. Imagine if you could’ve been a part of FitBit when the company started. That’s what we have.
Most importantly, this opportunity is truly a home-based business, and can be done from anywhere using just your cell phone. For the first time ever, a home-based business is truly a home-based business! All we do is send out a 2 minute commercial, followed by a 7 minute overview, and finally followed by a 30 minute LIVE zoom presentation.
Interestingly, I have gained a terrific community. I really enjoy people, and I love working on a team. In my private practice, it is just me and my clients. In my other businesses, I get to help others by dreaming together, having fun together, working together, and succeeding together. Just because we work from home doesn’t mean we’re not connected. We have trainings, team meetings, and brainstorming gatherings online.
Are you looking for community? For extra money? For a chance to not have to work a job for the next 40 years? This MIGHT be for you.
